LIGHT UP THE PATH
We're not meant to journey through life alone.
It's perfectly fine to take some time for self-reflection, to process life's challenges, and to pause and catch our breath.
At the core of it all, we're drawn back in and driven by a profound human need for acceptance and love.
We all aspire to find happiness.
We crave relationships that fulfill us.
We yearn for a sense of belonging.
We desire PEACE amidst life's turmoil.
In the face of hardships, many of us feel like retreating to weather the storm alone.
Wherever you may find yourself on your life's journey, know that you're not alone.
Let me help you in navigating the storms and illuminating what might seem like dark times.
YOUR SPACE WITH ME
Creating a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental therapeutic space is paramount to me. It's a sanctuary where everyone can feel safe to share and process. I'm dedicated to fostering an environment for self-exploration where you feel truly seen and understood.
I meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey, employing a top-down approach as you acquire skills, gain insights, and find the answers and changes you seek.
I stay attuned to you, to actively listen, to challenge negative thoughts, to validate suffering, to sit in silence with you holding the space, to work through trauma, and to help you through it.
My ultimate goal is to offer understanding and hope to you, equipping you with improved coping mechanisms, a fresh perspective on life, and the tools to become the best version of yourself.

YOUR WORK WITH ME
In my work with you, I employ a range of therapeutic techniques aimed at fostering healing and growth.
I often collaborate with clients to creatively blend together different modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for restructuring negative thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to inspire change, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation and mindfulness.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is another approach I may assess and use with select clients when appropriate to aid in trauma healing and recovery.
Additionally, I may draw on concepts from Narrative Therapy to help individuals externalize themselves from their challenges, reshape their narratives, and highlight their strengths.
Each person's journey is unique, so each treatment plan are tailored to specific needs and goals. I tend to personalize treatment plans to the level of understanding to ensure clients can meet their goals.

Creating a sturdy basis for therapy starts with gathering information.
In the initial sessions, the focus is on understanding your present circumstances, the history of the issue, family of origin, and other helpful aspects while progressing at a pace that suits you.
During this time, I’ll also ask a lot of questions, and together we will make a solid plan to meet your goals.
